Have you tried to change your blogger theme but keep getting errors? When I first started using blogger, I saw other bloggers with these beautiful blogger themes and I just had a plain one. So I searched and searched online for the perfect theme and every time I tried to apply it, I was getting errors! So I gave up and almost a year later I made a commitment to myself that I would learn how to do it.

Thanks to YouTube and Pinterest I was able to learn how to do this. It's really simple and I feel a little stupid about it. So I had to share!! Watch my video below and please comment and share if you gained anything from it!!!!!!!!

9 Snapchat Tricks & Tips

1. Activate cool features in your settings.

First, make sure you have an up-to-date version of Snapchat downloaded on your device. To download the latest version of the app, visit the Google Play or iTunes store.

Once the app is updated, open it up. Tap the gear icon in the top-right corner of your feed, and then tap "Manage" under "Additional Services."

To use Snapchat's bonus features, you must activate them in "Settings."

IMAGE: SCREENSHOT SNAPCHAT

In this section, you can enable bonus features such as filters, front-facing flash, replay and special text, and also choose the number of best friends you want displayed on your "Send To" screen.

2. Use special text.

Typing captions on top of snaps is great, but what if you want to overlay your snap with larger text and emoji? This is when the special text feature, an alternative caption style, comes in handy.

Tap the letter "T" next to the pencil icon in the top-right corner of your snap draft. The characters you type will now be magnified.

3. Draw with secret colors.

Doodling on your snap is one of the app's most popular features. We all know you can pick a color by sliding the rainbow color bar. But what you may not know is that you don't have to limit yourself to the color palette on the rainbow slider. Check out the next steps to find out how to draw with secret crayon colors.

Draw in the color white.

Draw with a white crayon by touching the rainbow color slider and dragging your finger to the top-left corner. Android users already have the white crayon built into their rainbow slider.

Draw in the color black.

Similarly, you can draw with a black crayon by touching the rainbow color slider and dragging your finger to the bottom. Android users already have the black crayon built into their rainbow slider.

Draw in hidden colors.

You’ll notice when you drag your finger from the rainbow slider to the left or to the bottom of the snap, you’ll be able to use a bunch of in-between colors that aren't available on the palette.

Draw with a transparent color (only on Android devices).

If you have an Android device, you're in luck. Snapchatters using Androids can draw with a see-through color. Press down on the rainbow slider until the full color palette appears, and then select the transparent color.

4. Add fun filters.

Snapchat's latest upgrade allows you to add Instagram-like filters, art and other data labels to your snap. Just swipe your finger left or right to preview each filter. Here's a rundown of all the filters offered.

Geolocation

Based on your location, you can overlay art and other labels on your snap. For example, if you're in New York City's Flatiron District, you can add art like the one below.

Time

Use the time filter to display what time you took your snap.

Temperature

If you want to display what the temperature was when you captured the snap, use this filter. You can tap the temperature to change it from Fahrenheit to Celsius.

Speed

This filter captures the speed at which you're moving when you take the snap. However, the feature can be a bit buggy, and doesn't always work.

Black and white, saturated and sepia filters

The old version of Snapchat used to have codes for three secret filters. But the latest version of Snapchat makes it easy to find them, and the codes don't work anymore. Continue to swipe your finger left or right to preview these filters.

5. Front-facing flash

Want to take a selfie but the lighting is too dark? No worries. Snapchat has a front-facing flash feature that will white out your screen, brightening your photo. Simply turn on the flash by tapping the lightning icon in the top-left corner.

6. Change rear-facing camera to front-facing camera

Here's a shortcut for those who love snapping selfies. Instead of tapping the camera icon in the top-right corner of the screen to switch the camera view, just tap the screen twice. It will automatically switch from the rear-facing camera to the front-facing camera, and vice versa.

7. Replay a snap.

The replay feature allows you to replay a snap that was sent to you within the past 24 hours. Keep in mind, however, that it will only allow you to replay the snap you last viewed. To replay, simply tap on the snap you want to view again, and a notification like the one below will pop up. Tap "Replay."

8. Tap to go through Stories.

Sometimes you may want to fast-forward through certain Stories. Instead of waiting for the next snap to appear in a Story, you can tap the screen (while pressing down to view the Story), and it will take you to the next snap.

9. Change the number of 'best friends' displayed.

By default, Snapchat displays three friends you most interact with the most on the "Send To" screen. According to Snapchat, these friends are selected automatically by the app's friendship algorithm.

If you want to change the number of friends shown, go to your settings (see the first step on this list). Tap on "# of Best Friends," and you can choose to display three, five or seven friends.

How To Use Snapchat | The Pink Entrepreneur Explains

How To Use Snapchat?!

Did you just download Snapchat from the App Store? Or is it sitting on your home screen because you haven't figured it out yet? Well today is your lucky day, I'm going to solve this problem for you!

Snapchat launched in 2011. This cool social media app allows you to take pictures and short "snaps" of your life! You can also add captions and draw pics on the snaps. This social media site differs because the snaps are only available for 24 hours, then it's deleted from the site. There's also an option to keep it up for a certain amount of time. You can send the snaps to your contacts or just add them to "your story's" for others to view.

1. Add Friends

2. Create Snaps

Snapchat automatically activates your phone's camera, and it's pretty easy to use. To adjust the focus of the camera, tap anywhere on the screen. Tap the camera icon in the top right-hand corner to switch from rear camera to front camera, and tap the lightning symbol at the top-left corner to turn on the flash on.

To take a photo, tap the circle at the bottom of the screen. To record a video, tap and hold the circle at the bottom of the screen. You can record videos up to 10 seconds long.

Add a caption

Snapchat allows you to spice up your snaps with captions. When your recipient opens the snap, the caption will appear in a bar on top of the photo or video. Tap anywhere on the screen to add a caption.

You can doodle on your snaps with the pencil tool, which is located at the top-right corner. To pick a color, simply adjust the slider. Then, use your finger to draw on the photo. If you make a mistake, don't worry. Simply tap the arrow (left of the pencil) to undo your mistake.

Add a filter or effect

Want to add different hues or cool things like time or location to your snap? Make sure you've enabled the filter feature in your setting; swipe your finger left or right to preview each filter.

Set time limit

You can choose how long you want your recipient to view your snap for — up to 10 seconds. To adjust the time limit, tap the stopwatch icon at the bottom-left corner.

Save your images

To save your image or video before sending it, tap the downward-pointing arrow at the bottom of the screen. Snapchat must have access to your photo album in order to save an image.

Keep in mind that you cannot save a snap after you send it.

Send your snap

When you're ready to send your masterpiece, tap the arrow in the bottom right-hand corner. Your contact list will appear, and you can select who to send it to. There is no limit as to how many people you can send a snap to — choose all the recipients you want, and hit send by tapping the arrow on the bottom-right corner.

Once your recipient has opened your snap, the triangle (for photos) or square (for videos) icon next to your friend's name will not be filled in. A filled-in icon means your snap has been sent, but hasn't been open yet.

These are just the basics of snapchat, check the rest out for yourself, it's a fun tool to use for marketing your business!!

Which Autoresponder Is Best? / Top 3 Autoresponders

Friday, October 31, 2014
So if you landed on this page, you're an entrepreneur who just learned that "the money is in the list!" Meaning the money is in the e-mails that you collect with your Autoresponder. What is an autoresponder? It is emails that are AUTOmatically sent to your subscribers. It allows you to communicate with 100s and 1000s of people at the click of a button!

What kind of emails will you be sending? The great part about it is, you can send any kind of emails you want, it's YOUR list! Be creative!!! But the basic answer is... To greet new subscribers, alert them about the hottest products and services you have to offer, or even send out motivational emails!! The sky is the limit.

Choosing the right autoresponder can play a VERY important role in the success of your email marketing campaigns.

Now the million dollar question is, which company has the best autoresponder? I will answer that for you by listing which ones are ranked the best. :) before I go on, you should pick an Autoresponder that offers relevant features that you might be interested in. I personally love using templates so I look at things like that.

1. AWeber Communications

AWeber Communications offers one of the best autoresponder tools in the industry. They give you access to over 600 available templates so you can pick one that best matches your company's branding. Aweber also keeps track of how many emails were opened, unopened, and many other stats!!

2. iContact

IContact is another email marketing software program with exceptional email autoresponder tools. For a personal touch, you can use mail merge technology to customize your email subject line and/or body with each subscriber's name. You can also publish your emails to the web so your site visitors and social-media followers don't miss out on your content. Like other popular autoresponders, iContact enables you to keep track of statistics, such as open rates and click rates. If you have a Premier Account through iContact, you also have the option to perform split testing, which is where two different versions of the same message are sent out. With the results of split testing, you can see which version was more effective and use that information to improve future emails.

3. GetResponse

In addition to offering a high-quality email marketing solution, GetResponse also provides some of the best autoresponder capabilities in the industry. You can set up time- or action-based messages based off any criteria you select, leaving you with more time to focus on other tasks besides sending out emails. There is no limit on the number of autoresponder messages you can send per day. GetResponse's clean interface makes it easy to access all of the information you need about your autoresponders, including valuable statistics that give you insight into how well your subscribers responded to your messages. Rearranging the order of your autoresponders is as simple as dragging and dropping them into the position you'd like, and duplicating a message can be done with just a single click. Like iContact, GetResponse also allows you to perform split testing to help you gain insight into what your subscribers are interested in.

So really it all comes down to what service offers what you're looking for. Is it templates you want? Are you more worried about statistics? It's your choice.

I hope you gained some value from my blog about the Top 3 Autoresponders!!! LIKE, SHARE, AND COMMENT!!!

10 Things Most People Don't Know About Me!!

Friday, October 17, 2014
Here are some things most people don't know about me. Well for starters I'm 22 years old, a lot of people drop their jaw when I tell them how old I am. Most people say I look 16 years old. I'm current in school studying radiology. When I was in high school, I was in a clinical rotation class and I really enjoyed the x-rays and MRI's area. I also have 3 older brothers, would be 4 but 1 passed in his sleep as a baby.

In high school I was on the varsity  volleyball team since sophomore year. My sister and I played volleyball for 8 years, we were so amazing that many club teams paid for us to play for them. Our careers ended due to injuries and multiple shoulder surgeries for me. When I went to a Vegas tournament, I ended up dislocating my shoulder after spiking a ball. My coach had to pop my shoulder back into place, it was really embarrassing!! Here's another embarrassing fact about me, I didn't get my first boyfriend until after high school!!! Lol I was too worried about grades and sports.

When I was a little girl we lived in New Orleans. I went to kindergarten there and I was totally bullied by all the mean girls in my class. Sometimes I wish I could just go back into the pass and give those girls a piece of my mind!! They use to steal my crayons and jewelry. :( but hey live and learn right?? Lol  The house we use to live in doesn't exist anymore due to hurricane Katrina. I'm so glad my mom got us out in time.

One last thing you may not know about me.... Is that..when I was younger, like 3rd grade, I was attacked by a dog. The dog tore me up so bad that I had to get stitches on my ankle. My mom sued the lady and when I turned 18 years old, I received  $8,500.  I would say that dog bite was worth it!!!  Hope you enjoyed my blog!!!

A Simple Introduction

Thursday, October 16, 2014
<3 Hey guys my my name is Tiesha Whitlock but most people call me twin because I have a twin sister. Some fun facts that define me are..... Funny, exciting, and intelligent!!!! With my free time I love to watch netflix series, I'm in love with the vampire diaries and other supernatural shows. I love to play volleyball and I also like to read romance novels. Working out in the gym is something i do with free time as well. I'm from Dallas Texas and I live with my mom here. My favorite thing about myself is that I'm motivated and a smart lil thang!! I go after my goals and dreams!

I started blogging because I recently started to market online with a company that's going to allow me to fire my boss. Empower Network gave me the idea to start blogging and ranking on google. I thought it would be a good idea because it will allow others to get to know, like and trust me. My blog is for other like minded individuals. I want to attract people who want to establish an online income and brand themselves online. I want to connect with others who want to build a legacy and change the world in some small way.

I want this blog to help others establish themselves online. I would like to give marketing tips and techniques. :)

Lately I've been working on becoming an amazing eBay seller. I've also been working on my body in the gym and I'm really proud of that. I think fitness is very important for our health. If you look good then you feel good.

What do I want people to take away from my blog? I want them to gain valuable information that answers any questions about marketing that they have. I want them to remember my blog as being bright and colorful with lots of juicy nuggets about online marketing. :)

Facebook will be charging a monthly $2.99 fee starting in November!!!

Wednesday, September 24, 2014

Menlo Park, CA — At a press conference this morning, Facebook rolled out their new monthly service plan. Beginning November 1st of this year, the social media giant will start charging members $2.99/mo to use services that users currently enjoy for free.  “We thought long and hard about this decision, but at the end of the day, we had no choice but to add this monthly fee,” Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg told reporters. “If we don’t do something about our rising costs now, Facebook could face an unrecoverable financial burden and become obsolete.”

“This is excellent news for Facebook stock holders,” says Wall Street analyst Dale Sackrider. “As of August this year, Facebook had a total of 1.317 billion users. If just 75% of those members pay the new monthly service fee of $3, that will mean an annual influx of cash totaling roughly $36 billion. That’s not just an increase in profits of a few dollars, that’s a game changer right there.”

What are your thoughts and opinions about this? Will you pay the fee?? comment below

The Best Part Of The Iphone 6

Tuesday, September 9, 2014
Today is a big day for Apple fans, as the company introduces a shiny, new iPhone. Actually, Apple is introducing two new iPhones: a regular iPhone 6 and a new, larger iPhone 6 Plus. The new smartphones will go on sale September 19.
(Read about the Apple Watch, also introduced today.)
Here's eight things to know about the phones:

1) These are the biggest, thinnest iPhones ever

The phone comes in two models, the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 and the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus.
phonee.0.png
The original iPhone in 2007 had a screen that was 3.5 inches, measured diagonally. Apple maintained that size for several years — the iPhone 3G, 3GS, 4, and 4S were all the same size and shape. In 2012, Apple released the iPhone 5, which had the same width but was a bit taller, bringing the phone's screen up to 4 inches. The iPhone 5S was the same size as the iPhone 5.
The iPhone 6 represents the biggest screen size boost in iPhone history. The larger size means more pixels for apps to work with. The iPhone 5 line had a 640 by 1136 screen resolution. The new phones boost that to 750 by 1334 and 1080 by 1920, respectively.
At the same time, these are going to be the thinnest iPhones ever: they'll be 6.9mm and 7.1mm, respectively, compared to 7.6mm for the iPhone 5S.

2) Apple is playing catch-up to the Android world

While Apple stayed the same size, other screens were growing. Right now, one of the best-selling Android smartphones is Samsung's Galaxy S5. It has a 5.1-inch screen with a 1080 by 1920 resolution
Bigger
The Apple announcement. (The Verge)
The S5 has an even larger cousin, the Galaxy Note, with a 5.7-inch display at the same 1080 by 1920 resolution. These devices that straddle the line between phones and tablets have been dubbed "phablets" by the tech press.
And, while these might be the biggest iPhones ever, they're still smaller than the largest Android phones. And the smaller iPhone 6 still has fewer pixels than leading Android competitors.
Apple is aping the Android world in another way: as phones have gotten bigger, some Android device makers have moved the power button from the top of the phone to the right-hand side. Apple is doing the same thing with the iPhone 6.

3) Apple says these are the most powerful and power-efficient iPhone yet

The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus use a brand new, Apple-designed
processor called the A8. According to Apple, it has 2 billion transistors, which makes it 25 percent faster for ordinary computing tasks and 50 percent faster for graphics.
At the same time, Apple says, the new phones will provide slightly better battery life. Wifi browsing time has been increased from 10 hours for the iPhone 5s to 11 hours for the iPhone 6 (and 12 hours on the 6 Plus). Things have improved even more dramatically for talking: Apple says you can talk on the phone for 14 hours on the iPhone 6 and a whopping 24 hours with the iPhone 6 Plus, compared to just 10 hours for the previous iPhone.

4) They'll cost about the same as the old ones did

The iPhone 6 will cost $199 for a low-end model with 16 GB of storage. That increases to $299 for a 64 GB model and $399 for a 128 GB model. (All of these prices are with a wireless contract.)
If you want the larger size of the iPhone 6 Plus, you'll have to pay $100 extra: it's $299 for a 16 GB model, going up to $499 for the 128 GB  model.
As per its usual practice, Apple is going to continue selling old models at a reduce price. The iPhone 5S will sell for $99, while an iPhone 5C will be free with contract.

5) The new iPhones will take better pictures

The camera on the iPhone 6 will sport several improvements over its predecessor.
The iPhone 6 (and 6 Plus) sports a new sensor that allows the camera auto-focus twice as fast as previous iPhones. So if you whip your phone out for a quick snapshot, you're less likely to wind up with a blurry snapshot.
The new iPhones also support a new slow-motion video feature. You can take videos at 240 frames per second and then slow them down to see them at a fraction of their original speed.
The new phones also supports "burst selfies." With this feature, you can take a bunch of photos in sequence, then flip through them to select the one you like the best.
Finally, the iPhone 6 Plus — but not the regular iPhone 6 — offers optical image stabilization. Sometimes, users can slightly shake the camera at the instant they take the picture, leading to blurriness. Optical image stabilization automatically detects and offsets these movements, helping to produce a crystal-clear image.

6) The iPhone 6 offers a new way to buy stuff with one tap

Near-field communications, or NFC, is a technology that allows devices to swap data just by tapping them together. The technology is hardly new — it's been available on some Android phones since 2010 — but so far, it hasn't gotten much use. Apple is hoping to change that with a new mobile payments feature.
Rather than reinvent the underlying architecture of a payment system, Apple is partnering with major bank and credit card companies to build something that will piggyback on existing credit card infrastructure. You can either use the credit card information you already have on file with your iTunes account, or else add some new ones. Then you'll wave your phone (rather than swipe a card) at your retailer, and payment will be sent via Apple who will then bill your credit card.
At the presentation, Eddy Cue heavily emphasized the idea that with this transaction the cashier doesn't get your credit card number and Apple doesn't get your purchase information — it's all handled through a one-time payment number and a "dynamic security code" so your privacy is protected. This is presumably a differentiator from other major tech companies such as Google, Facebook, and Amazon all of which are heavily involved in harvesting user information as a core element of their business strategy.

7) The iPhone 6 offers faster and more versatile networking capabilities

There are two ways that iPhones communicate with the broader world wirelessly. One is wifi, the short-range networking standard that allows us to communicate with our home or business networks. The other is using longer-range cellular networks.
Over time, we've seen several major improvements to the iPhone's networking capabilities. For example, the iPhone 3G was called that because it was the first iPhone to support faster 3G networks. More recently, iPhone have upgraded to still faster 4G-networking standards, sometimes called LTE.
iPhone networking
The iPhone 6 and its larger sibling make a couple of significant improvements over the networking capabilities of previous Apple smartphones. First, it supports more frequencies than previous iPhones — 20 different frequency bands in all. That will allow it to operate in more countries. Second, it uses a technique called carrier aggregation to allow it to utilize multiple frequency bands at the same time, which Apple says can lead to speeds of up to 150 Mbps, 50 percent faster than the iPhone 5S.
The wifi also got a significant upgrade. The iPhone 6 supports the latest wifi standard, known as 802.11ac, which offers speeds up to three times faster than the wifi chips on the iPhone 5S. The new iPhones will also have the capability to automatically re-route phone calls over a wifi network if cellular service quality is poor.

8) The iPhone 6 will run iOS 8, a new version of Apple's mobile operating system

Back in June, at Apple's annual World Wide Developer Conference, the company unveiled iOS 8, the latest version of the software that runs on iPhones and iPads. It will be released on September 17, in time to be pre-loaded on the new iPhones. The update has several major features:
Seamless integration of Mac and iPhone: Our digital lives are increasingly fragmented across multiple devices. We might be using the PC in the den one minute and an iPad in the kitchen the next. iOS 8 allows applications to "hand off" interactions from one device to another as users move from device to device.
Better onscreen keyboards: A new technology called QuickType attempts to guess which word the user will type next and allow her to select it with one tap. iOS 8 also supports third-party keyboards.
Storage in the cloud: In the past, Apple's iCloud has allowed consumers to synchronize their music, calendars, and other personal data between their Macs, iPhones, and other devices. But now Apple is competing directly with Google Drive and Dropbox by introducing iCloud Drive, a service that will allow users to save any kind of file on one machine and have it automatically synchronize on their other devices.
